I have discovered a way to make sure that my cutting board is germ free when we're outdoor camping. I simply use a 60/40 mixture of alcohol and water to treat both sides of the cutting board and then I rinse it with water after washing it in hot soapy water. My husband, five kids and myself all enjoy playing some outdoors sports together. We have several games that we play, like croquet, horseshoes, basketball and even swimming in the summers. Over here in Southern California, while it is getting really chilly at night the days have been a consistent 65-70 degrees. If you ask me this is a perfect temperature for outdoors sports. I would much rather have to add on more layers on then not be able to take enough off in the heat. Plus, I sweat like a pig running around especially playing outdoors sports like tennis... 
Weather permitting, we're going outdoor camping for four days between Christmas and New Year's, and while we're camping at desert elevations, it can still be cold in the morning. I ordered dozens of these hand warmers for us. They are inexpensive and can be really useful for getting or staying warm in cold temperatures or climates. I think these are something to keep on...
