In a few weeks, the Memorial Day holiday will be upon us and that means the beginning of summer activities for everyone. Down here in the southwest, though, outdoor camping and outdoors sport has been going on for some time now. Never the less, with the school year nearing a close, camping and outdoor activities will rule in the next coming weeks and months. Our family will be attending a family gathering at a nearby lake next month. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying some summer activities with them all. Some of my family members will be bringing their small boats and it will surely be hot enough to enjoy the outdoors sport of swimming in the lake for the most part. Later on in the summer, my family will do some outdoor camping up north to escape the triple digits of down south. I love this time of year, when the mind set is on low-key mode. I am as excited as the kids are in getting out of school and starting summer vacation.
