Every time the family goes on camping hiking trip we come up with a very cool treasure hunt. The aim in our camping hiking treasure hunt is to find as many golden pebbles as you can and then exchange them for gifts. A week prior to our camping hiking some of us go to the grocery store and buy about three bags of dried garbanzo beans along with some gold spray paint. Then preparing our camping hiking golden pebbles is pretty easy since all we do is put all the beans on top of some newspaper and paint them with the gold spray paint. We usually let the kids do the painting since they are the ones that will be searching for the camping hiking golden pebbles and plus they have lots of fun using the paint cans. We then go online in search for some cool camping hiking treasure hunt trinkets that the kids can buy with their newly found camping hiking treasure hunt currency. The day we arrive at the outdoor camping site we begin to look for the best places to hide the golden pebbles without making it too hard for the kids and the next morning the camping hiking treasure hunt is on. Let me tell you, just seeing their little faces full of joy when they find some golden pebbles is worth the trip.
