carp fishing

Carp can be tricky fish.  They can also be a very fun fish to catch.  They are big and put up a great fight.  These are two highly desirable qualities that a fisherman looks for when going fishing.  Having the right carp fishing gear can really make or break a carp fishing experience.

The first time I went carp fishing I was really unprepared.  I just took out my trout rod and tried to catch some carp.  I quickly learned after getting my line broken off a couple times that this was not going to cut it.  When I got home that night I did some research and found out what gear I should be using.  I even came across a great online superstore that had the perfect carp fishing gear that I was looking for.  I ordered what I needed and it was shipped right to my house.

My first fishing trip for carp with the right gear was a blast.  I caught so many fish that day that I lost count!  It just goes to show how essential the right gear is.
