Think Outdoors Sports - Think Trampoline |
| 1/29/2010 6:27:20 AM |

Many years ago our girls begged and pleaded for my husband and I to get them a trampoline. They were both involved in cheer and gymnastics. The trampoline would give them a place to practice their jumps and flips. It proved to be very beneficial not only for the girls but for my husband and myself as well.
I began to think of the trampoline as another one of those outdoors sports activities. I can say from my own experience of jumping on the trampoline in our backyard that my heart rate definitely increased. I quickly became aware of long forgotten muscles in my body. My husband lost his emerging belly in a few short weeks of jumping on the tramp.
When it comes to outdoors sports the girls got us motivated with the trampoline. My husband and I had gotten into a rather sedentary lifestyle. We would go to the girls meets and cheer events but always sat on the sidelines. That all changed dramatically with the trampoline and consequent movement. We had never thought about the trampoline in terms of outdoors sports but it really got us in shape. Thank You girls! |
