One of my friends has been on all of our cases trying to set up a weekend we can take time off for outdoor camping. The weather has finally become consistent enough to plan such a jaunt over a week in advance. We are finding it harder then expected to get five dudes with random work schedules to find the time off for such an adventure. With planning it is going to happen and with the warm sun starting to show its face to Southern California all lights are green for outdoor camping. I really wanted to buy a small .22 caliber rifle before we went. In California there is a 2-week waiting period after purchase so if I’m going to do it, the purchase has to be made soon.
There is nothing better then cooking, hiking, drinking, riding dirt bikes and shooting guns out in the middle of nowhere. This might be my red neck side talking but it is the kind of outdoor entertainment I grew up with and haven’t had enough of after moving to the city. Times are changing though and the outdoor camping tent should be popped before the middle of next month.
