Planning an Outdoor Camping and Canoeing Trip to MN This Summer |

One of my cousins is so much fun to go on vacations with and this year I suggested we go outdoor camping on a lake in Minnesota. Last year we rented a cabin for a week and had a ball. However, this year it's my turn to choose what we do, so I'm going to suggest we spend at least three nights outdoor camping. We'll probably rent a cabin for the week because we get great rates on them by the week, so if the weather turns, we can scrap outdoor camping and head inside.
Personally I love outdoor camping and I'm going to go online to see if we can find an outfitter who we can rent a canoe from and spend lazy hours drifting around the lake. To my knowledge, my cousin has never been canoeing but is highly experienced in a motor boat, so it shouldn't take long for her to get her lake legs inside a canoe. She lives on the Pacific and takes their boat out on the ocean all the time, so canoeing should be a piece of cake for her when we're outdoor camping.
