outdoor campingFinally, the long wait for the official start of the outdoor camping season in Arizona is here! At long last Labor Weekend is upon us all, and I intend to make the most of it as I head to Northern Arizona for my family’s annual outdoor camping trip abroad. This year we will be revisiting Oak Creek Canyon for a brisk three night adventure in the outback. Some of the best outdoor camping in the state is found in this awesome park, which can become quite crowded during the holiday season. I have been getting all of my outdoor camping gear ready and cleaning it, and stowing it away in the trunk of my car in anticipation of the big weekend ahead. This is what I live for: taking a nice road trip to the outdoor camping grounds in the cooler parts of the state where the desert recedes and turns into a beautiful National Forest that is canvassed by green trees and lush landscapes, clear skies and the amazing and awe-inspiring offerings of Mother Nature.
