outdoor campingThe weather forecast doesn't look as wet as we thought it was going to be this weekend, so it's time to pack up the car, buy some groceries, and go outdoor camping this weekend. Even though it's Labor Day and the woods will be teeming with kindred spirits, we know some public land where we can get away in total isolation from the real world. It's only three hours from home and there's a beautiful stream that runs through it that we can use to drink, cook, and bathe. Jut in case the water isn't pure enough to drink, we always heat it to a boil and then put it in this canteen for outdoor camping that we bought online. We then toss the canteen back into the stream to cool it down, and we have lovely, cold drinking water. Packing water is such a hassle, so drinking the water from this perennial stream once it's been boiled is perfectly safe and a major convenience. When we are outdoor camping, we do our best to keep the whole process simple, and getting water at the source is as easy as it gets. outdoor camping
