There are some things that my family and I enjoy that are truly unique, and that have served to bring us all together over the years. Unlike other family traditions, like a family reunion, or getting together for a brunch, my family likes to go on camping hiking trips abroad. Every year in September, we all meet at our favorite camping hiking grounds in Northern Arizona, Oak Creek Canyon. But we are also planning a backpacking camping hiking later this year in Washington, where I am told they have some of the finest camping hiking trails in the entire nation. I sometimes sit and daydream about how amazing the trip will be. Just me, and my family, and our significant others, camping hiking and backpacking the long, lush and grassy trails in Washington as we make our way down the fifty mile hike that will comprise our backpacking outing. I have not been backpacking in so many years, that I will have to actually shop around online for some newer camping hiking gear to take with me on the planned trip that lies ahead just a few short months from now.
