outdoor camping, carp fishing

Although many of our friends have purchased Recreation Vehicles, we have opted for the traditional practice of outdoor camping.  We have been camping for years, and we truly enjoy sleeping in our tents, on sleeping bags, and setting up for cooking and eating outdoors.  When you go camping and outdoor living is a huge part of that process, you experience nature firsthand, and you learn so many things.  The personal satisfaction alone is worth the effort.  Knowing you have to get up and get everything together for breakfast, everyone eats and excitedly gets ready for any outdoor sports planned for the day.

Camping hiking and camping fishing are among the most enjoyable portions of the trip we enjoy.  There is nothing like catching fresh fish, cleaning it, and having it for breakfast.  Carp fishing is not something we practice; but, occasionally we catch a carp.  My Dad used to throw them on the bank.  I never understood why he did that.
We also enjoy feeding the geese if they are flying through.  Outdoor camping is a great way to spend your time with each other, and finding out who we are as individuals.
