Gerber Multi-Plier 400 Compact Sport
When I go camping & outdoor hiking there is one single camping accessory that I can not leave home without. In fact, I would say that it there isn't anything more important to outdoor camping equipment than the multi-tool.
I have had one for the last three years that I have taken with me on every camping hiking trip, fishing expedition, or any other outdoors sports I am involved in. I simply can not replace the many uses of a good multi-tool. Not to mention it has so many uses I can eliminate carrying a slew of tools and equipment I've seen other campers use.
Recently on a outdoor camping and fishing trip in Alaska, I was trying to pull the multi-tool out of my holster when a rogue wave came out of nowhere and bumped our little fishing boat pretty hard. My multi-tool was tossed in the air, and in the ensuing scramble to grab it, it was dumped into the lake. Quickly vanishing from sight. I dove in to try and recover it but just ended up exhausted from the attempt.
We still had two more days on the outdoor camping trip and I was feeling a need to get back quickly so I could buy another multi-tool. As soon as I got home I grabbed my laptop and began my search. A website I have gone to in the past, Route 66 Megamall, has always treated me right on other items so I pointed my web browser to the site located at www.route66megamall.com and looked in the 'Knives' section.
I bought the exact same one I had before, I already knew what each of the attachments were for so it made sense to get another Gerber Multi-Plier 400 Compact Sport. I used my last one for everything while camping hiking, and other outdoors sports. The pliers, wire cutters, scissors, serrated knife, screwdriver, and can opener are used for every part of my camping trips. Whenever I need something fixed, installed, set up, or temporarily repaired, my Gerber Multi-Tool is the perfect tool for the job.
The applications are endless and I've used it for everything from setting up my tent, to fixing my fishing pole, to even making a complete shelter when I went camping hiking for two days with just the clothes on my back. That was an adventure! Now with my multi-tool from Route 66 Megamall. I can do it again and survive.
