outdoor campingI love the fall for many reasons. One, I live in Arizona and when the autumn months arrives it means that finally the days get cooler, the nights are amazing and the heat of the summer is finally nearing an end. But another thing beckons for me each fall in this great state: outdoor camping adventure trips with my friends and family. We have gone on outdoor camping trips for years, and they have truly become a staple to our family; a tradition so to speak that we all look forwards to each year. This time we are headed, once again, to northern Arizona, where there are some pretty amazing outdoor camping spots that offer plenty of trees, wildlife and some amazing views. And I love to hike – its one of my favorite things to do when on outdoor camping trips – so there will plenty of that to look forwards to as well. But, perhaps, my favorite thing about outdoor camping trips with my friends and family, aside from the norm of roasting marshmallows and hotdogs and singing folk songs, is finding great swimming holes to dip and dive into during the still warm midday.
