My room-mate came home last night from his trip to the UK. When I opened the door to help him bring in his stuff I was scared half to death by this fish. It seems he made it to the UK at the same time they were holding a Carp fishing competition. For a bit of fun he and his family entered into the competition. After 6 hours on the water he landed this huge 13 lb Carp. Now it wasn’t the largest in the Carp fishing competition, but it was a good size.

When the contest was over my room-mate took the fish to a local Taxidermist. He had it mounted to bring home. I am glad he had a great time with his family. Now it is hanging on the living room wall. He loves telling everyone about how he caught it at a Carp fishing competition. I am glad he did so well. I have to admit, if he did not have the pictures of him capturing it, I would have thought he picked it up at a market.
